The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly - 6/20/25

The ongoing saga… 

The Good – The peaceful protests around the country. 

The Bad – The lack of engagement by Congress in setting policy on a variety of fronts proposed by the Trump Administration is damaging the institutional responsibilities of the US House and Senate as well as creating a degree of chaos on the policy front.

The Very Bad – The inspired deaths of Democrat leaders in Minnesota as a result of the slayings by a MAGA madman. The MAGA folks need to come out strong that this is NOT part of how we work in the USA!!

The Ugly – The potential long-term implications of the probable “brain drain” we are creating across the USA as a result of recent proclamations related to foreign students studying in the USA, along with the cuts to university research budgets, which serve to attract them to our country.
