The Good – The rise of the health professions speaking up in opposition to the diminished approach toward using real, confirmed, adjudicated data for making decisions in health care. 

The Bad – The firing of CDC Director, Susan Monarez, Ph.D. – a long-time civil servant with an impeccable background! “Disease Control” is not a political station. It is a position with worldwide responsibilities for leading and managing the MOST IMPORTANT disease surveillance entity in the world (NOTE: My clear opinion is that from my perspective – the wrong person was fired!!)
